Dryer High Limit Thermostat Test

To find a new high limit thermostat for your dryer, search using your appliance’s model number.

Is your dryer not heating? Is your high limit thermostat bad? This free troubleshooting videos shows step-by-step instructions on how to test a high limit thermostat for a Dryer.

On a gas dryer, if the air flow in your dryer is poor, the flame will not be pulled through the burner housing properly. On an electric dryer, poor air flow will cause the heat from the element to not be pulled through the heater housing properly. Either of these situations can cause the high limit thermostat to heat up and switch off the voltage to the burner assembly or heating element. The thermostat will reset after it cools and the process will repeat. However, the dryer will take too long to dry because the heat is continually being shut off and the thermostat itself can become damaged. carries dryer high limit thermostats for many different brands including: ARDO, Admiral, Amana, Asko, Bosch, Caloric, Crosley, Danby, Electrolux, Estate, Eurotech, Frigidaire, GE, Gaggenau, Gibson, Haier, Hotpoint, Inglis, JC Penney, Jenn Air, Kelvinator, Kenmore, KitchenAid, LG, Magic Chef, Maytag, Montgomery Wards, Norge, RCA, Roper, Samsung, Speed Queen, Tappan, Universal, Westinghouse, and Whirlpool.

Which weapon is better, steel chain whip or jian (Chinese straight sword)?

Which one is more advantageous in an open battlefield against ancient Chinese warriors? What if you pit two comparable warriors against one another, one with the whip, the other with the sword? Who would fair?

The one you have mastered. It’s not the weapon of choice, but the skill level of the person using it.

gain control on amp to sub question?

Okay I have a 400 watt RMS Pioneer champion duel voice coil sub running off a 800 watt pioneer D class Mono 2 channel amp… now i want to up the gain on the amp to push the sub harder because my bimmers boot is very sound proof… right now the gain is set pretty low because I’ve already blown a sub of the same description… so how do i know where to place the gain so i don’t blow the sub again…but to get the max performance out of the sub…

With the gain down, crank the headset volume to about the loudest you would ever have it. Now go to the amp, and turn the gain up until you hear the subs distort. Then turn it back down a bit. Now no matter what, its the loudest it can be, safely.

The One Ring and Chain Replicas

A few years back, I bought a tungsten carbide One Ring replica and surgical steel chain to go with it. I lost it in a movie theatre when it fell out of my pocket -__-
Yesterday, I finally got the ring and chain from ebay (I ordered them like 2 weeks ago)

The Ring is a size 8 (US) with a height (when laid on its side) of 7mm , and the chain is 65cm surgical stainless steel. 🙂
The sizes used in the movie were a size 11 (US) with a height of 7mm. It was made of 18 carat yellow gold. The chain was 65cm sterling silver.

So since I have not been able to find many in focus shots of the ring that are also in HD, I decided to try one myself. The problem is, with the macro filters, I have a super shallow dof and it goes in and out of focus.. But I think I got some clear shots.

Update (21/09/2012): New seller of the One Ring:

One Ring is from here:

The 65cm surgical stainless steel chain is from here:

Enjoy! 🙂
